Catalonia -2.1%

Destinations such as the Canary Islands have in many ways become too expensive over recent seasons. At the same time, destinations in the province of Alicante have managed to keep prices low. The Costa Blanca and the province of Alicante are where you get most for your money if you want to spend a week’s holiday in mainland Spain, according to a new study. Hotels in the Balearics were on average the most expensive in the whole of Spain.
