The province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca is the most popular among foreign buyers in Spain. The Costa del Sol further south can also point to high sales figures so far this year.
During the first six months, 40 per cent of all sales of houses and apartments to foreigners were made in the province of Alicante, twice as many as in the neighbouring province of Málaga.
This year too, Alicante and the Costa Blanca finished top over the first 7 months of the year.
